I made it!!!!!

After 3 days and almost 2900 miles I am here. I do not even know where to being talking. The drive was amazing, long, boring, exciting all at the same time. The car held up well even when an RV decided to attack it. (We were drving in the fast lane when all of a sudden an RV decided to shed its awning and we had no choice but to run it over head on)The car suffered some damage,  but could have been much worse. The damage consisted of the front bumper, undertray, AFR sensor and wiring, exhaust is now missing some bolts, and a could other minor things. I am glad to be here it feels nice to wake up knowing I do not have to drive.

It was great to meet Jeremey (Black Betty) he made me a custom one off grounding kit, which I will be installing before the show. He was a great guy meeting me off the highway at almost midnight. I also got a chance to meet Tim the king of sedan’s (Ttrank) his sedan is so nice, and the BBK is as big as it looks in pictures, and all the custom one off pieces that make his car so unique.

The final drive in to Cali on route 60 through the hills was amazing, it was so scenic. Also it was insane to see all the giant wind generators things.

Bon Voyage SFL

We’re packed and ready to go. the trip has begun.  4 cases of Monster to keep me awake during the wee ours of the night. I will be departing FL at 5am Eastern to start the 2 and a half day journey to CA. I am hoping to make it to Texas  tomorrow. MONSTER if you are reading this, Sponsor me please!!!! First stop will be around 9am in Orlando, breakfast with my brother also picking up the video camera.

With less than a week….

With less than a week until I depart. I wanted to thank everyone who has helped me, in anyway possible to make this happen. I am now past the planning stages, the car is together how it will be showed, and bags are almost packed. The nervous tension of getting everything done and planned out is over with and now excitement is kicking in. I am sure that excitement will soon fade, along with the sunset as I keep trucking those miles. I have my case of monster and my Ipod loaded. I am ready to rock and roll.

All you so cal guys I am anxious to meet all, also looking forward to meeting my new teammates.

 Today, I went ahead and installed the custom lights that I have been working on this week. I painted the housings semi gloss black, and left the projector chrome. Before & After…

56 Days

With about 56 days remaining, I am feeling good about the trip. I have been ordering more little goodies here and there. I will be hoping to get everything all squared away and departed by the early morning hours of March 10th. 

I have my roll bar( which if going of to powdercoat tomorrow ) that I will be mounting some sort of video camera. Then at the end of the trip I will be creating a video which over views the trip. Stay tuned as I am working on a video page, with some clips of my car.
